During installation or when upgrading to version 3.3 the following error message occurs Could not set the Content Studio Service Manager COM+ application to be queued. After this the installation continues.


This is an error that occurs when the Content Studio Service Manager is going to be synchronized with the underlying Microsoft Message Queue Services (MSMQ). This error occurs on some system only.


After the installation you must fix this issue manually in order for Content Studio to work properly.
  • Open the Component Services management console application. You find this in the Control panel, Administrative tools. Under COM+ applications right click the node Content Studio Service Manager and select Properties
  • On the Queue tab un-check the queued and listener checkboxes and press the Apply button. Close the dialog.
  • Stop and restart the application by selecting the start and stop options in the right click menu of the application
  • Open the same dialog and re-check the checkboxes you just un-checked. Apply the changes and stop and restart the application again.
