Some customers has experienced problems with the Content Studio Office integrator when they start MS Word, Excel or PowerPoint. During start some error messages appears and the Office Integrator menu will not be loaded properly.

This error can occur on some system due to problems with how some installations of MS Office handles Add-in components.

Version 1.2 of the Office Integrator includes a better error handling for connect problems and also contains a possibility to suppress all error messages during connect. This can be useful if this problem persists to occur since the connect procedure runs every time MS Word, Excel or PowerPoint starts.
To enable connect error messages suppressing you should add one of the following registry key value with the type DWORD:
in the key
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Teknikhuset\Content Studio\3.2\Office Integration
or in the key
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Teknikhuset\Content Studio\3.2\Office Integration
to enable supression HideConnectErrors must set the value 1.
The difference between the 2 keys is that in HKEY_CURRENT_USER only the current user is affected but in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE all users are affected. The integrator first checks the HKEY_CURRENT_USER value and if this is set to 1 this value will take effect. If HKEY_CURRENT_USER is not set to 1 or missing but HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is set to 1 the latter will take effect.
Editing the registry should only be done if you have sufficient knowledge. Improper usage can make your computer or applications behave unexpectedly.
